Really though, why does a power tool become accepted in the kitchen just because it’s less powerful and prettier?

Power tools are acceptable kitchen tools. There is power drill were I work, put a paint mixer on it & it mixes sauces (& dressing) well.

Proof of concept. Mixers plug into the wall, another weakness. What if the power goes out while making pie? I went to the garage and fixed the situation, because I wanted some damn pie. Worked perfectly.

The gas worked just fine. Power came on shortly thereafter, but no reason not to light the oven manually.

I’ve always believed that there is no job a man won’t do if power tools can somehow be involved. My ex was surprised to see me scrubbing the kitchen floor, but that was only because I had a new power scrubbing brush and was using it everywhere ...

What annoys me is when my wife uses the house vacuum in the garage, e.g. for the car. There is a shop vac right there! That is what it is meant for!
